Junior Building Manager

About the role

Cyril Leonard Limited is seeking a motivated Junior Building Manager to support the day‑to‑day operation of a mixed‑use portfolio of office, retail and residential assets in London. This is an entry‑level position offering hands‑on exposure to all facets of building management while working alongside experienced colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Support the daily management of a mixed‑use property portfolio, ensuring high standards of maintenance and compliance with health, safety and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate planned maintenance and reactive works, conduct property inspections and assist with reporting.
• Monitor contractor performance, service delivery and maintain accurate records of compliance certifications.
• Act as a primary contact for occupiers, tenants, clients and service partners, delivering prompt and professional customer service.
• Assist with service charge budgeting, cost tracking, expenditure monitoring and preparation of financial reports for clients and asset managers.
• Support health‑and‑safety processes, including risk assessments, audits and record‑keeping.
• Help appoint and coordinate contractors, monitor service levels and escalate issues when necessary.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in property, facilities or building management.
• Demonstrated drive, curiosity and a willingness to learn.
• Strong commitment to delivering excellent client and occupier service.
