Junior Network and Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Network and Cybersecurity Engineer to join our small, fast‑growing team. You will work across IT And General (ITG) and XCommNet, gaining hands‑on experience in networking, security, SD‑WAN, mobile connectivity and e‑commerce operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily order processing, stock control and courier coordination for the e‑commerce arm.
• Provide first‑line technical support, log tickets and escalate complex issues.
• Prepare, configure and deploy routers, firewalls and related networking equipment.
• Visit client sites to install networking gear, set up temporary internet solutions and support on‑site events.
• Attend networking events, build customer relationships and support sales proposals.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about technology, networking and cyber security.
• Good understanding of the OSI and TCP/IP models.
• Strong communication skills and confidence in customer‑facing situations.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within London and surrounding areas.
