Senior Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join a leading global telecom company's in‑house tax team in London. Reporting to the Global Tax Director, you will work within a team of around ten professionals, providing expert UK tax advice and overseeing key tax projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical advice on complex UK tax matters such as leases, CFC, CIR, SBCE and related issues.
• Prepare and review Tax Technical Memos for quarterly reporting.
• Manage the UK tax position, safeguarding CFC and hybrid mismatch exposures, and mitigating FX tax risks.
• Project‑manage tax forecasting across group entities and collaborate with Treasury, Capital Allocation and Transfer Pricing teams.
• Lead UK tax forecasting and scenario planning.
• Support Finance and M&A teams with tax modelling, structuring and due diligence.
• Identify tax risks and opportunities throughout transaction lifecycles.
• Research complex tax concepts, including Pillar 2, and provide inputs to business initiatives.
• Work with external advisors to keep benchmark studies and TP models up to date.
• Review local and masterfile documentation and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• ACCA, ACA or CTA qualified.
• Broad international and UK tax experience, preferably from a Big 4 firm.
• Proactive, able to lead projects and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Eligible to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).

• Competitive salary £85,000‑£105,000 per year plus 15% bonus.
