Laundry Valet – Housekeeping

About the role

The Savoy Hotel is seeking a Laundry Valet to join its Housekeeping team. You will play a central part in maintaining the high standards of linen, guest laundry, dry‑cleaning and pressing services that define our five‑star experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, process and deliver guest laundry, dry‑cleaning and pressed items.
• Prepare linen for daily operations and support room moves and guest requests.
• Record and charge items accurately, manage garment repairs and sewing.
• Operate laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, ironers and shampoo machines.
• Control linen stock levels, conduct inventory checks and handle staff uniform distribution.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe linen room and work environment.

Required profile

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Physical capability for frequent kneeling, lifting, standing and walking.
• Independent worker who can also follow clear instructions.

Required skills

• Operation of laundry equipment (washers, dryers, ironers, shampoo machines).
• Sewing and basic garment repair.
