About the role

The Lead Pharmacist for Surgical Services will coordinate pharmacy services across surgical specialties at Royal Bournemouth Hospital and Poole Hospital. The role supports the delivery of high‑quality pharmaceutical care within the surgical pathway.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee pharmacy services across multiple surgical sites.
• Ensure compliance with the General Pharmaceutical Council standards.
• Provide clinical pharmacy expertise to surgical teams.
• Develop and implement service improvements and professional development initiatives.

Person specification

• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
• Extensive clinical pharmacy experience, preferably in surgery.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills.
