Lecturer – Higher Education

About the role

The Metanoia Institute is seeking a Lecturer to provide academic leadership and deliver high‑quality teaching for its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will contribute to curriculum development, assessment design and student success while supporting a diverse learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and assess modules across relevant programmes.
• Lead curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with quality‑assurance processes, accreditation and regulatory standards.
• Support students with diverse needs, including those requiring additional learning support.
• Participate in departmental meetings, peer observation and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant field (or willingness to obtain).
• Teaching qualification for higher education (e.g., PGCertHE) or willingness to obtain.
• Relevant professional registration where applicable (e.g., BACP, UKCP, HCPC).
• Experience teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
• Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusive practice.
