About the role
The Metanoia Institute is seeking a Lecturer to provide academic leadership and deliver high‑quality teaching for its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will contribute to curriculum development, assessment design and student success while supporting a diverse learning community.
Key responsibilities
- Design, deliver and assess modules across relevant programmes.
- Lead curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with quality‑assurance processes, accreditation and regulatory standards.
- Support students with diverse needs, including those requiring additional learning support.
- Participate in departmental meetings, peer observation and professional development activities.
Required profile
- Master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant field (or willingness to obtain).
- Teaching qualification for higher education (e.g., PGCertHE) or willingness to obtain.
- Relevant professional registration where applicable (e.g., BACP, UKCP, HCPC).
- Experience teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusive practice.
