Maintenance Operatives – Manchester

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Gang to join our Manchester portfolio. The team will carry out routine and reactive repairs across residential, commercial and industrial properties, ensuring assets remain safe, compliant and operational.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and urgent repairs on a variety of building types.
• Carry out carpentry tasks, including tapering, jointing and general joinery.
• Execute minor plumbing, electrical and HVAC work as required.
• Inspect, service and maintain building systems and equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from property managers and tenants.
• Install, repair or replace fixtures and appliances.
• Maintain clean, safe and organised work areas.
• Record all activities accurately in maintenance logs.

Required profile

• Proven experience working in a maintenance or handyman team.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a coordinated crew.
• Strong attention to health and safety standards.
• Good communication with managers, colleagues and tenants.
