National Contracts Manager – Fire Protection Solutions

About the role

We are seeking an experienced National Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of specialist fire‑rated cabling and ductwork systems across the UK. You will oversee design, manufacture and installation, ensuring projects meet safety, quality and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end project delivery, coordinating schedules, resources, logistics and teams.
• Act as the primary client contact, providing regular updates and ensuring high satisfaction.
• Oversee Health & Safety compliance, including risk assessments, method statements and site inspections.
• Lead, recruit and develop operational teams, fostering a collaborative, results‑driven environment.
• Liaise with internal departments, subcontractors and consultants to optimise workflows and product integration.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, manage contract variations and support commercial matters.
• Identify and implement best practices, lessons learned and process improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract and operations management within construction or manufacturing.
• Excellent knowledge of construction contracts such as JCT and NEC.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering or building services.
• Current SMSTS certification and CSCS card.
• Willingness to travel nationally and ability to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
