Network Engineer – Network Transformation Project

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a major network transformation project in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role involves hands‑on deployment, configuration and troubleshooting of network hardware in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of a large‑scale network transformation project.
• Pre‑configure and stage network hardware prior to installation.
• Install and deploy equipment in communications rooms.
• Perform patching and migration from legacy to new infrastructure.
• Provide troubleshooting and triage support during deployment.
• Collaborate closely with the Lead Consultant to ensure smooth project delivery.

Required profile

• Strong background in network transformation or infrastructure deployment projects.
• Hands‑on experience with HPE and/or Juniper networking technologies.
• Ability to work independently on‑site in live environments.
• Immediate or short‑notice availability for a 3‑month contract.

What we offer
