Online ESL Tutor for K-12 Students (UK based)

About the role

Join Cosmo 1:1, a leading online learning platform, as an Online ESL Tutor. You will deliver 50‑minute one‑on‑one lessons to K‑12 students in Singapore and Hong Kong, following the Cosmo curriculum. The role offers a flexible schedule that you set, with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 instruction to ESL students.
• Update your availability promptly in the Cosmo app.
• Prepare age‑appropriate lesson materials aligned with the curriculum.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate professionally with parents, students, and Cosmo staff.
• Attend all scheduled classes on time in a professional setting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching K‑12 English Language Arts.
• Experience with K‑12 ELA standards and curriculum.
• Experience teaching ESL learners.
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required.
• Fast, reliable internet and a Windows or Mac PC (minimum CPU 6000).
• Commitment to at least 6 months with Cosmo 1:1.
• Availability 8‑2 PM GMT (Mon‑Fri) or 5 AM‑2 PM GMT (weekends) and at least 20 hours weekly.
• Private, quiet workspace.
• Current residence in the United Kingdom.
