Part 1 Architectural Assistant – 1‑Year Placement

About the role

Stride Treglown is looking for proactive Part 1 Architectural Assistants to join our Bristol studio for a one‑year placement starting July/August 2026. You will work within a multidisciplinary team on a variety of projects, developing your design and communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare design proposals using Revit and hand‑drawn methods
• Contribute to the design process and coordinate detailed design information
• Develop specifications for construction work and prepare drawings for statutory approvals
• Assist with design‑stage risk assessments and contract management
• Make site visits, obtain and evaluate tenders, and support contract negotiations
• Participate in meetings, document preparation, and coordination with associated professionals

Required profile

• Part 1 qualification in architecture
• Strong design flair and an excellent portfolio
• High visual communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a studio environment
