Part 2 Architectural Assistant – Residential & Industrial

About the role

An exciting opportunity is available for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a well‑established, design‑led practice in Birmingham. You will work within the Residential and Industrial team, supporting projects from concept through to completion alongside experienced architects, technologists and designers.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of residential and industrial projects across multiple RIBA stages.
• Produce high‑quality planning, presentation and technical drawing packages.
• Develop detailed design and construction information using Revit.
• Assist with planning and Building Regulations submissions.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients and contractors.
• Attend design meetings and site visits.
• Support senior team members with project delivery and technical detailing.
• Ensure work meets high standards and project deadlines.

Required profile

• RIBA Part 2 qualified Architectural Assistant.
• Several years of UK industry experience within an architectural practice.
• Experience on residential and/or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning processes.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Proactive, enthusiastic and collaborative mindset.
• Ambition to progress towards Part 3 qualification.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Revit for technical drawing and design development.
