People & Culture Business Partner

About the role

We are looking for a People & Culture Business Partner to join Christian Aid on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will provide strategic and operational HR support to our Multi‑Country Clusters, helping to align people practices with organisational priorities and drive meaningful change.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with MCC leadership to embed a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
• Identify resourcing needs and support talent acquisition to ensure the right capabilities are in place.
• Interpret and apply HR policies in line with Christian Aid’s ethical standards and compliance requirements.
• Advise and support MCC leaders on employee‑relation cases, ensuring fair and consistent processes.
• Promote inclusive people‑planning and management practices that enhance wellbeing.
• Use organisational and sector data to inform performance management and workforce planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering HR strategy and operational support in a complex, multi‑site environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, building trust with senior leaders.
• Ability to think critically and align HR initiatives with organisational values.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HR policy implementation and compliance.
• Experience with employee‑relation case management.
• Data‑driven approach to performance and people planning.
