People Partner – Hybrid (Travel to North London)

About the role

The People Partner will work closely with senior leaders to deliver strategic workforce solutions that align with organisational goals. This hybrid position combines office days in Colchester, remote work, and regular travel to North London to support multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Advise managers on organisational change, service redesign and workforce planning.
• Provide timely HR advice on employment relations and manage complex case loads.
• Lead a team of HR staff, overseeing recruitment, appraisal and performance management.
• Support business tenders and service transfers with HR and workforce expertise.
• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies, procedures and training programmes.
• Maintain accurate HR information systems and produce regular reports.
• Manage delegated budgets and specialist HR service areas.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or postgraduate diploma in HR management.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• Extensive HR generalist experience, including complex employee‑relations cases.
• Proven ability to write and implement HR policies and guidance.
• Strong knowledge of current employment law and legislation.
• Experience of change‑management techniques and partnership working.
• Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills.
