Plumber – Permanent Full‑Time Role in Birmingham

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Plumber to join PTSG Water Treatment on a permanent, full‑time basis. The position is based in the Birmingham area and involves mobile work across commercial, domestic and prison facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining safe and compliant plumbing systems for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on plumbing systems to a high standard.
• Carry out tank disinfections, replacements and routine plumbing repairs.
• Conduct mains injections and local disinfection tasks.
• Respond to reactive maintenance calls, diagnose and resolve issues across commercial plumbing networks.
• Install, repair and maintain plumbing fixtures, thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs), modify pipework and remove dead legs.
• Collaborate with team members, keep accurate records and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• City & Guilds Level 2 qualification in Plumbing (or equivalent).
• Ideally G3 Unvented Hot Water Systems certification.
• Proven experience in commercial plumbing and routine water‑hygiene tasks.
• Experience in building services, facilities management or environmental consultancy is a plus.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
