Production Planner

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will coordinate daily and weekly schedules, ensure material availability, and help deliver customer orders on time.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain and optimise daily and weekly production schedules.
• Generate and release manufacturing work orders using the MRP system.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Quality and Logistics to keep operations running smoothly.
• Manage changing priorities while maintaining high customer service levels.
• Maintain accurate planning data and production records.
• Identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Production Planner, Scheduler or similar role in manufacturing or engineering.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach.

Required skills

• Experience with MRP or ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• General IT competence.
