Project Coordinator / NPI Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Project Coordinator / NPI Project Manager to join a growing manufacturing business in North East England. The role bridges engineering and production, ensuring new products move smoothly from design to full‑scale manufacturing while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from initial customer requirements through to manufacturing delivery.
• Work cross‑functionally with engineering, production, quality, and procurement teams.
• Track timelines, risks, costs, and milestones, providing regular progress updates to customers.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and technical records.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives across project processes.

Required profile

• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or technical production environments.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Proactive, adaptable mindset with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of customer expectations.

Required skills

• Project coordination and tracking tools.
• Understanding of technical drawings and product specifications.
