Project Manager – Automotive Lighting Systems

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of high‑end lighting system projects for luxury and super‑car brands. Based in Buckingham, you will work with multi‑disciplinary teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own all project management activities for assigned projects, from initiation to delivery.
• Develop and maintain accurate project schedules, coordinating with suppliers and internal resources.
• Lead customer meetings, act as the primary point of contact, and manage the customer relationship throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with company policies for project and engineering change management.
• Oversee pre‑production build phases and process equipment development.
• Mentor and support Project Engineers to achieve successful outcomes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an automotive environment, preferably with a 1st tier supplier.
• Degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
• Proven project management experience, ideally with a PRINCE2 qualification.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal, problem‑solving and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to plan, multitask and manage time effectively.
