Project & Operations Coordinator – Strategic Communications

About the role

Zinc Network is seeking a Project & Operations Coordinator to support a new strategic communications programme. This entry‑level position will help ensure smooth day‑to‑day running of programme activities, from coordination and logistics to financial tracking and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day coordination of project activities, timelines and deliverables.
• Maintain project trackers, documentation and reporting materials.
• Organise meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagements, including scheduling, agenda preparation, note‑taking and follow‑up actions.
• Assist in preparing donor reports, presentations, briefing materials and internal updates.
• Coordinate communication and scheduling across internal teams, consultants and external partners.
• Handle operational tasks such as resource planning, procurement, contracting administration, onboarding, invoicing and timesheet tracking.
• Manage grant‑related activities including contracting, compliance reporting, payment processing and grant close‑out.
• Support budget tracking and maintain accurate financial and operational records.

Required profile

• Highly organised, proactive and detail‑oriented.
• Strong interest in international programme management and operations within a fast‑paced strategic communications environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, consultants and external partners.
• Willingness to work on‑site in London and commute to the office weekly.
