About the role
Poten & Partners is seeking a friendly and organised Receptionist/Office Administrator to manage the front‑desk of its London office and provide administrative support to the global team.
Key responsibilities
- Man the reception desk and switchboard at all times, greeting visitors and handling calls.
- Operate the switchboard, screen and forward calls, and take accurate messages.
- Reserve and prepare meeting rooms via Outlook, including catering and presentation setup.
- Maintain tidy, well‑stocked reception, meeting rooms and kitchen areas.
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail and organise outgoing couriers.
- Handle general administration tasks such as ordering supplies, reporting facilities issues, booking reservations and assisting with employee expense administration.
- Keep attendance records and provide support to the Office EA when needed.
Required profile
- Excellent organisational abilities and a "can‑do" attitude.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer‑service role is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, methodically and as part of a small admin team.
- Professional, mature demeanor with solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliability, good time‑keeping and a proactive approach.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
