About the role

We are seeking a Regional Director for Commercial Clients in London. In this strategic position you will work closely with the Head of Commercial Clients to shape and execute the business strategy, driving growth and profitability while upholding the bank’s risk standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver the regional business strategy aligned with group objectives.
• Recruit, lead and develop teams of Relationship Directors and Managers.
• Monitor market and competitive environment, taking proactive actions.
• Manage high‑profile client relationships and key business introducers.
• Coach teams to improve the quality of credit submissions.
• Promote a customer‑service culture, including satisfaction plans and contact strategy.
• Support regional marketing and brand promotion activities.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in commercial banking or a related financial services sector.
• Track record of achieving revenue and growth targets.
• Strong risk‑management mindset and ability to work within risk principles.
• Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategy into operational results.
