Sales Director - Brand Partnerships (UK, Italy, France, Spain)

About the role

Better Collective is seeking a Sales Director to build and scale its premium brand partnerships business across the UK, Italy, France and Spain. The role will lead the development of strategic, long‑term relationships with global brands and agencies, delivering integrated commercial solutions that combine content, talent, audience intelligence and data.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the brand‑partnerships strategy for the four markets, creating category‑specific go‑to‑market plans.
• Develop scalable sponsorship products, premium sponsorships, branded entertainment and talent‑led campaigns.
• Identify and pursue six‑ and seven‑figure partnership opportunities across sectors such as automotive, financial services, FMCG, consumer electronics, retail, travel, telecommunications and luxury.
• Collaborate with the Director of Ad Sales UK & Europe, product, editorial and marketing teams to build integrated commercial propositions.
• Own the sales strategy for each vertical, become the internal expert and drive annual category growth plans.
• Leverage audience intelligence, first‑party data and creator collaborations to deliver data‑driven activation.

Required profile

• Proven senior sales leadership experience in media, advertising or sponsorship environments.
• Established relationships with global advertisers, European brands and major agency holding groups.
• Strong understanding of modern sports fandom and how audiences engage with live sport, digital media and creators.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a new business unit.
