SAP BTP Developer – Cloud Integrations & Extensions

About the role

The SAP/BTP Developer will design, develop and support cloud‑based integrations, extensions and applications on SAP Business Technology Platform. You will work across finance, HR and master‑data domains, collaborating with functional consultants and project managers to deliver secure, scalable SAP solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into robust BTP solutions.
• Design, build and maintain integrations using SAP Integration Suite (CPI) – REST, SOAP, SFTP, JDBC and event‑driven patterns.
• Develop side‑by‑side extensions and cloud applications on BTP using CAP, RAP, Node.js, Java and SAP Business Application Studio.
• Create and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications while adhering to clean‑core principles.
• Configure secure connectivity with Cloud Connector, destinations, certificates and OAuth.
• Support SAP processes in Finance, HR and master data alongside functional teams.
• Assist migration of integrations from legacy platforms to SAP BTP.
• Produce technical documentation, conduct code reviews, unit testing and debugging.
• Support testing, deployment and post‑go‑live activities.
• Collaborate with project managers to estimate effort and plan delivery.

Required profile

• Strong experience developing on SAP Business Technology Platform.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI) and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience building cloud applications or extensions using CAP and/or RAP.
• Proficiency in SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
• Understanding of clean‑core and side‑by‑side extensibility.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
