Self-Employed Mortgage Broker – Hybrid with Retainer

About the role

Our client, an established property firm with an attached mortgage brokerage, is seeking an experienced self‑employed Mortgage Broker to work on a hybrid basis. You will receive all qualified leads, administrative support and office space in North London, while enjoying the flexibility of self‑employment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of mortgage applications from initial enquiry to completion.
• Provide expert advice to clients, ensuring compliance with CeMAP standards.
• Work closely with the client services team to qualify and follow up on leads.
• Maintain accurate records and liaise with lenders and solicitors.
• Attend the office every Wednesday and the last Friday of each month.

Required profile

• Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in mortgage advice or brokerage.
• CeMAP (Essential) qualification.
• Strong organisational skills and a proactive, team‑oriented attitude.
