SEN Teacher (QTS Required) – September Start, Specialist School

About the role
We are seeking a qualified SEN Teacher to join a highly regarded specialist school in Berkshire from September. The school supports learners aged 2‑19 with a wide range of special educational needs, providing a vibrant and inclusive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning profiles.
- Create a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere that promotes inclusion.
- Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists and families to coordinate support.
- Monitor pupil progress and contribute to Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) reviews.
- Develop pupils’ communication, independence, emotional wellbeing and academic achievement.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet complex needs such as ASD, SLD, SEMH and sensory impairments.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); early career teachers are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Passion for inclusive and specialist education.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
- Commitment to supporting every learner to achieve their potential.
