Senior Change Project Manager – Commercial Insurance

About the role

We are working with a leading global specialty insurer to recruit a Senior Change Project Manager for its high‑profile transformation function. The role will support strategic business, regulatory and technology change initiatives across international markets, reporting into the transformation leadership team. The position is based in London with a hybrid working pattern (2‑3 days in the office).

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of a broad portfolio of global change programmes covering business, technology, regulatory and compliance initiatives.
• Manage operating model and integration programmes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Coordinate with senior stakeholders across business and technology functions, acting as the primary liaison for change delivery.
• Drive change adoption across matrixed, international teams, ensuring consistent execution across markets.
• Oversee risk and compliance aspects of change projects, particularly those with regulatory impact.
• Provide governance, reporting and performance tracking for transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• 8‑10+ years of experience delivering complex change programmes in commercial insurance.
• Proven track record of managing business‑focused transformation rather than pure IT delivery.
• Experience working in global or matrixed organisations, preferably with London market exposure.
• Strong senior stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate regulatory and compliance change within the insurance sector.

Required skills

• Understanding of regulatory frameworks affecting insurance (e.g., Lloyd’s, delegated authority).
• Experience with change management methodologies and tools.
