Senior Consultant – Digital Transformation

About the role

Swift Strategies is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead delivery on complex digital transformation programmes for public and private sector clients. You will act as the driving force that keeps workstreams moving, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage workstreams across agile and waterfall environments.
• Monitor budgets, track progress, and resolve delivery blockers.
• Maintain and nurture stakeholder relationships at senior levels.
• Contribute to proposals, client presentations, and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
• Support junior colleagues through coaching and mentorship.

Required profile

• Proven experience in consultancy or delivery roles within UK public and/or private sectors.
• Strong understanding of agile delivery, GDS standards, and digital service design principles.
• Familiarity with waterfall delivery and multi‑stakeholder programme management.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• People‑management capability and ability to work in ambiguous environments.
• Experience with central government departments or the NHS is highly desirable.
• Relevant qualifications in delivery methodologies are advantageous.
