Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist – 9‑Month Parental Leave Cover

About the role

The Financial Times is seeking an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its global Talent Acquisition team on a 9‑month fixed‑term contract. The role is hands‑on, managing a fast‑moving portfolio of vacancies across product, technology and commercial functions, primarily for UK hiring but also supporting the US and APAC markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full recruitment lifecycle for 15–18 concurrent requisitions, from briefing to offer acceptance.
• Source and engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, direct headhunting and talent mapping.
• Design and manage interview and assessment processes in partnership with hiring managers.
• Provide regular updates on pipeline health, risks and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate recruitment data in Greenhouse and Workday and use insights to refine strategies.

Required profile

• Significant end‑to‑end talent acquisition experience in a complex, international or fast‑paced in‑house environment.
• Proven ability to manage a high‑volume portfolio of concurrent vacancies while delivering a strong candidate and stakeholder experience.
