Senior Tax Manager

About the role

GXO Logistics is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead US GAAP tax reporting for its European operations. Reporting to the VP Tax Europe, you will own the European component of the global US GAAP income tax reporting process and work closely with Finance, Treasury, Legal and Tax teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the European US GAAP income tax reporting process, ensuring compliance with ASC 740, IAS 12 and local statutory requirements.
• Manage deferred tax, valuation allowances, FIN48 positions, Pillar 2 reporting and Country‑by‑Country Reporting.
• Own consolidated cash tax forecasting and reporting, delivering timely information to US stakeholders.
• Ensure SOX control compliance and support internal and external audit activities.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify and implement tax process improvements.

Required profile

• Significant experience in US GAAP tax reporting and tax provisioning within a Big 4 or multinational in‑house environment.
• Strong technical expertise in ASC 740, IAS 12, deferred tax accounting and cash tax forecasting.
• Experience working in a US‑parented or US multinational organisation.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with senior stakeholders.
