Specialist Hygiene Technician – Croydon

About the role

Rentokil is looking for a Specialist Hygiene Technician to join its Croydon branch, serving South West and South East London. The role is fully field‑based and offers comprehensive, industry‑leading training, so no prior experience is required. You will manage your own schedule while delivering a wide range of hygiene and cleaning services to diverse customers.

Key responsibilities

• Respond quickly to reactive service requests across various premises.
• Work as part of an on‑call rota to meet fluctuating business needs.
• Provide expert advice and exceptional customer service on site.
• Maintain a professional image and uphold health‑safety standards at all times.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence held for at least two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Flexibility to adapt working patterns to business demands.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check where required.
