STEM Work Experience Programme – One Week in London

About the role

Robert Bird Group is offering a one‑week STEM work experience programme for Year 10‑13 students. The placement provides a real insight into engineering and construction careers that shape the built environment.

Key responsibilities

• Work with a dedicated supervisor to develop essential workplace skills.
• Learn directly from experienced engineers and designers across multiple disciplines.
• Shadow team members and observe daily project activities.
• Complete a technical design task that challenges creativity.
• Be paired with two office team members for mentorship and support.

Required profile

• Currently in Year 10, 11, 12 or 13.
• Passionate about science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Enthusiastic, eager to learn and able to attend the full week.
• No prior experience required.
