Supplier Quality Assurance Technician – Manufacturing

About the role

The Supplier Quality Assurance Technician will support the Supplier Quality Assurance Leader in managing daily quality activities for incoming materials at our Plymouth site. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to improve supplier performance and handle non‑conforming product decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform raw material incoming inspections according to specifications and prioritize work.
• Raise Quality Notifications for rejected material and follow up on root‑cause and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain team on inventory requirements.
• Maintain SAP and Flex Net data accuracy through regular reconciliations.
• Collect data for trial materials and support site‑wide raw material projects.
• Conduct stock counts to verify department inventory.
• Publish SQA quality results on weekly, monthly and quarterly schedules.
• Provide quality support for internal audits, CAPA, change controls, test method validations and engineering change requests.
• Generate monthly 5S reports and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to on‑site Health & Safety and GMP requirements.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a QC Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with inspection, measuring and test equipment.
• Strong organisational ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
• Aptitude for data analysis, trending and reporting.
