Supply Maths Teacher – Secondary Schools (Manchester)

About the role
Aspire People is recruiting qualified Maths Teachers (QTS) for supply positions across a range of secondary schools in Manchester. The role offers daily, short‑term or long‑term placements, giving you the flexibility to work when it suits you while gaining experience in different school environments.
Key responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons that build confidence and understanding.
- Adapt quickly to varied school settings while maintaining professional standards.
- Uphold high expectations for behaviour and learning.
- Develop positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
- Two years of recent references.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain a new DBS.
Required skills
- Effective classroom management.
- Ability to deliver clear, engaging maths instruction.
