About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teaching Assistants to support primary‑school classrooms in Salford and Trafford. Working through Tradewind Recruitment, you will be placed on a weekly basis in schools that match your availability, helping teachers deliver a positive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to pupils, reinforcing key concepts.
- Help maintain classroom order and safety.
- Support inclusion by adapting activities for diverse learning needs.
- Record observations and communicate progress to the teacher.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary‑school setting.
- Enthusiastic, proactive and dependable attitude.
- Strong desire to inspire and support young learners.
Required skills
- Basic classroom management techniques.
- Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt activities.
