Surveying Trainer / Assessor – Full‑time, £40‑45k, Newcastle

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Surveyor ready to transition into a rewarding training career. As a Surveying Trainer/Assessor you will coach the next generation of apprentices, delivering high‑quality surveying qualifications while enjoying a fully funded training pathway.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver and coordinate the successful completion of all aspects of Surveying apprenticeship qualifications.
- Provide hands‑on coaching and technical guidance to learners both on‑site and in the training centre.
- Train apprentices in line with relevant awarding‑body standards.
- Work within a self‑motivated team environment that values a practical, hands‑on approach.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years' relevant occupational experience within the Surveying industry.
- Mandatory Level 3 Surveying‑related qualification.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Enhanced DBS clearance required.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Total Stations.
- Proficiency with GPS/GNSS equipment.
