Talent Development Business Partner

About the role

The Talent Development Business Partner will work on a fixed‑term, 18‑month contract to design and deliver learning and development initiatives that boost capability across the IFRS Foundation. Reporting to the Talent Development Director, the role partners closely with global HR, technical leaders and business partners to create impactful programmes for leadership, technical expertise and onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Translate organisational people priorities into an annual and quarterly L&D roadmap.
• Conduct learning needs analyses for technical and central functions and recommend targeted interventions.
• Design and deliver data‑informed training programmes using modern adult‑learning methods.
• Create structured learning pathways such as new‑manager and leadership essentials programmes.
• Partner with HR and technical SMEs to develop a technical learning plan, including teach‑ins and communities of practice.
• Provide learning design support and facilitation guidance to enable SMEs to deliver effective sessions.
• Administer the learning management system, manage the calendar and promote usage.
• Collaborate with HR Operations and Compliance to ensure a consistent onboarding experience.
• Develop, implement and track talent development performance indicators.

Required profile

• Proven experience in talent development, learning design or L&D within a global or complex organisation.
• Strong analytical ability to translate needs analyses into actionable programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, working with HR business partners, senior leaders and subject‑matter experts.
• Ability to design scalable, impact‑driven learning solutions for diverse audiences.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration.
• Knowledge of modern adult‑learning methodologies (interactive design, peer learning, case‑based discussion).
