Technical Sales Consultant – Major Lift Repairs

About the role

Stannah is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Consultant to join its Glasgow Service Branch. You will focus on quoting and securing sales for both reactive and proactive major repairs of industrial lifts, supporting the sales function while maintaining high levels of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop sales opportunities within the existing customer portfolio.
• Target prospective new customers and build a robust internal lead network.
• Arrange and conduct site surveys, meetings and provide detailed proposals and quotes.
• Drive growth through major repair activities and maintain strong relationships with contract and non‑contract customers.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure seamless delivery of repair solutions.

Required profile

• Professional or technical qualifications within the lift industry.
• Proven experience in an engineering or sales capacity, preferably in lift or related heavy‑equipment sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to build and nurture customer relationships.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of industrial lifts and major repair processes.
• Experience with sales quoting, proposal preparation and site surveys.
• Engineering background or strong technical aptitude.
