Trainee Dispenser – Pharmacy Assistant (London)

About the role
Join a busy UK store as a Trainee Dispenser and become a key member of the pharmacy team. You will support pharmacists and other healthcare professionals while completing the NVQ2 Dispenser training, building relationships with patients and helping them manage their medicines safely.
Key responsibilities
- Complete the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 training programme.
- Dispense prescriptions safely, including ordering, labelling, endorsing and collection.
- Assist other healthcare professionals in delivering pharmacy services.
- Provide advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the pharmacist when needed.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure legal and safe dispensing.
- Stay up‑to‑date with store innovations and operational processes.
- Support patients in managing repeat prescriptions and promote adherence.
- Work with new store technologies to improve dispensing efficiency.
Required profile
- Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
- Current, valid UK right to work (no Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship).
- Willingness to work on‑site in a UK store environment.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills required; comprehensive training will be provided.
