Vice President – Private Credit

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Vice President to join its Senior Secured Management team in London. The role offers exposure across the full credit spectrum, from senior secured loans to high‑yield bonds and private credit, with responsibility for sector coverage, investment analysis and participation in complex credit situations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present credit theses for new senior secured loans, high‑yield bonds and middle‑market private investments, including detailed underwriting memos.
• Develop deep knowledge of 2–3 industries, monitor 25–30 issuers, and conduct ongoing financial analysis, cash‑flow modelling and performance assessments.
• Identify and evaluate secondary market and distressed opportunities, supporting workout situations.
• Build relationships with syndicate desks, sell‑side analysts and private‑equity sponsors to source primary and secondary deals.
• Maintain electronic credit files, compliance reporting, collateral records and exposure tracking.

Required profile

• Solid experience as a credit analyst covering leveraged loans, high‑yield bonds or direct lending.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced investment environment and influence portfolio decisions.
• Strong communication skills for presenting investment memos to the Investment Committee.
