About the role
The Volunteering Officer will lead the recruitment, support and development of volunteers for BikeAbility Wales, an inclusive charity promoting cycling for people of all ages and abilities.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit new volunteers, with a focus on young people, disabled and neuro‑diverse individuals.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to existing volunteers.
- Improve volunteering support systems and processes.
- Work with the team to achieve Investing in Volunteers accreditation.
- Respond to client queries and assist with delivering cycling activity sessions and guided rides.
Required profile
- Excellent organisational and people skills.
- Passion for breaking down barriers to cycling.
- Ability to work effectively in a small charity environment.

What we offer
- Salary £25,010 pro‑rata (£17,507 for 24.5 hours/week).
- 24.5 hours per week, working Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings.
