Waiter / Host – Night Shift at Ruby Hospitality

About the role

Ruby is looking for an enthusiastic Waiter/Host to join its fast‑growing hospitality team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere from arrival to departure, primarily during night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, manage reservations and guide them to their tables.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, drinks and light snacks with efficiency.
• Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet and arrange tables for the next morning.
• Oversee the night floor, ensuring smooth service and handling any guest requests.
• Perform end‑of‑day closing tasks, including cash handling and reporting.
• Provide local insider tips to enhance guests’ city experience.

Required profile

• Some experience in the hotel or restaurant industry (not mandatory).
• Comfortable working night shifts and flexible schedules.
• Reliable, multitasking, and eager to learn.
• Empathetic, humorous and enjoys teamwork.
• Fluent English communication skills.
