WordPress and React Developer

About the role

We are looking for a WordPress and React Developer to join a fully remote, globally distributed engineering team. You will work on high‑traffic WordPress themes and plugins while building modern React‑based front‑end experiences that serve hundreds of thousands of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable WordPress themes and plugins.
• Build interactive front‑end features using React and modern JavaScript practices.
• Collaborate with a distributed team through Git‑based workflows and agile communication tools.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and propose elegant solutions to complex technical challenges.
• Ensure code quality by following PHP, JavaScript, and WordPress development standards.
• Participate in improving product usability and overall user experience.

Required profile

• Experienced full‑stack WordPress developer with strong front‑end expertise in React.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, agile environment.
• Problem‑solving mindset with attention to clean, maintainable code.

Required skills

• WordPress core architecture, theme and plugin development.
• React, JavaScript (ES6), HTML, CSS/SASS.
• PHP, MySQL.
• jQuery, Git version control.
• Knowledge of WordPress coding standards and security best practices.
