About the role
We are seeking a motivated graduate to join our primary school in Grays, Thurrock as a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant. You will provide personalised and small‑group support to pupils with SEN/SEMH needs, helping them thrive in KS1 and KS2 classrooms.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small‑group assistance to students with ASD, SpLD, ADHD and other SEN/SEMH requirements.
- Support classroom teachers across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Assist in implementing individualized support plans and monitoring progress.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Required profile
- Graduate with a strong academic record.
- Compassionate, positive attitude and genuine passion for education.
- Experience working with children, especially those with SEN/SEMH needs.
- Desire to make a positive difference in pupils' lives.

What we offer
- Day rate of £95‑£105 (term‑time only).
- Long‑term, full‑time contract starting in September.
- Supportive, close‑knit staff team in a high‑achieving primary school.
- Trial days commencing 20 July.
