7.5T Driver – Portbury Dock

About the role

We are looking for a qualified 7.5T driver to operate new vans within the Portbury Dock compound and to make occasional trips to nearby Avonmouth. The position involves moving both 3.5T and 7.5T vehicles around the dock on a full‑time basis, ensuring efficient internal logistics and supporting port operations.

Key responsibilities

• Transport newly arrived vans between designated locations inside Portbury Dock, following the dock’s routing plan.
• Drive vans to and from Avonmouth as required, maintaining punctuality and safety.
• Handle both 3.5T and 7.5T vehicles, performing routine checks before each journey.
• Adhere to all health, safety and security procedures while operating within the dock environment.
• Maintain accurate movement logs and report any incidents or vehicle issues promptly.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence with C1 entitlement, authorising the operation of 7.5T vans.
• Availability to work Monday‑Friday, 07:00‑16:00, with no weekend requirements.
• Immediate start and commitment to an ongoing assignment.
• Reliable attendance and a clean driving record.

Required skills

• C1 driving licence (authorised to drive 7.5T vans).
