Account Director – Ministry of Defence Focus

About the role

SiXworks is seeking an Account Director to lead its Ministry of Defence portfolio, driving growth and delivering secure digital solutions for defence and national security missions.

Key responsibilities

• Use and grow your network in the Ministry of Defence to identify strategic growth opportunities.
• Conduct regular engagement with MOD stakeholders and forums to understand future digital requirements.
• Contribute to a business strategy that delivers profitable growth and aligns with SiXworks’ mission and vision.
• Support the development of a coherent Go‑To‑Market strategy and plan to identify and pursue opportunities.
• Establish and direct change‑management strategies needed for sustainable growth.
• Engage, influence and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure operations meet business strategy and requirements.
• Drive capability development and innovation, seeking new revenue streams and clients.
• Maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers, reinforcing the SiXworks brand for quality service.
• Lead and foster a high‑performing culture within the account.
• Contribute to internal communications to share news and updates, increasing engagement.
• Support strategic business development and commercial functions performed by senior leadership.
• Inspire and communicate the company’s mission and vision.
• Collaborate across peer groups and continuously seek service improvements.
• Perform other specific duties as required.
