Account Handler – International Property (US) Brokerage

About the role

We are seeking an Account Handler to join the International (US) Direct and Facultative Property team. The role focuses on complex property insurance and reinsurance placements for clients in the Caribbean region, supporting the broking team throughout the risk life‑cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate placement of property risks, preparing underwriting submissions, contracts, wording and endorsements.
• Maintain client relationships via email, phone and face‑to‑face interaction, handling queries to a satisfactory level.
• Service accounts from inception to completion, ensuring efficient and professional delivery.
• Collaborate with brokers to identify business development opportunities and maintain compliance documentation.
• Stay up‑to‑date with regulatory requirements such as Contract Certainty, LMBS, FCA and international standards.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication abilities for client and internal stakeholder interaction.
• Motivation to work in a fast‑paced, global insurance brokerage environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of property insurance and reinsurance placement processes.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (Contract Certainty, LMBS, FCA).
