Account Handler

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Account Handler to join a high‑performing specialist insurance team in Manchester. You will manage clients' insurance portfolios, ensuring they receive the best coverage while applying solid technical knowledge of property‑related risks.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, understanding their insurance needs.
• Manage renewals, placements, and mid‑term adjustments for property and construction products.
• Gather all necessary information and documentation for renewal meetings, staying organised and detail‑oriented.
• Maintain accurate records on the Acturis platform, ensuring data is up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial insurance broking, preferably with property and construction products.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities to secure optimal deals.
• Friendly, approachable attitude with a talent for building lasting client relationships.
• CII qualification (or willingness to obtain it, with support provided).
• Proficiency with Acturis software is essential.
