Account Manager - Medical

About the role

Real Chemistry is seeking a Medical Account Manager to act as the primary day‑to‑day client contact, overseeing multiple medium‑sized projects and coaching junior team members. You will work within a collaborative, impact‑obsessed environment delivering high‑quality medical communications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client relationships, provide status updates, respond to queries and set realistic expectations on timelines and scope.
• Own the delivery of medium‑sized projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, stay within budget and are completed on time.
• Develop and review written content, brief documents and ensure junior team output meets senior review standards.
• Identify growth opportunities, contribute ideas for new business pitches and support research for pitch teams.
• Coach junior staff, conduct regular catch‑ups, delegate tasks and help onboard new starters.
• Assist with financial management: budgeting, invoicing, forecasting and Salesforce opportunity tracking.

Required profile

• Relevant scientific degree and strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive, resilient and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and managing upward communication with senior managers.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality work on schedule and within budget.
