Account Manager – Travel BDM (London & Remote)

About the role

This full‑time position is for an Account Manager (or Business Development Manager) within a growing travel company. The role is primarily home‑based with regular travel, requiring one day per week in London to meet the team and clients. You will represent a luxury hotel group based in the Middle East, building relationships with tour operators, travel agencies and other leisure‑travel trade professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop business on behalf of the client with tour operators, travel agencies and other trade partners.
• Book meetings, deliver training sessions and finalize contracts.
• Act as the first point of contact for client enquiries.
• Maintain close relationships with key tour operators and travel agents.
• Organise and lead two or more familiarisation trips per year for travel professionals.
• Attend travel trade events across the UK.
• Prepare proposals and contracts between the company and its clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an account manager or BDM within the leisure travel sector (tour operator, hotel group, representation company, cruise line or travel ancillary).
• Based in the South East of England or London and able to attend the London office once a week.
• Strong existing relationships with leisure travel trade contacts.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Experience delivering face‑to‑face and web‑based training.

• Salary between £35,000 and £38,000 per year.
